One passport. The entire product lifecycle.
Issue an identity, verify it in a scan, trace it through the supply chain, engage the people who hold it, and recall it if you must — all from one record.
From physical product to verified passport
Four steps, from issuing a code to engaging the people who hold your products.
- 01
Issue
Every approved product gets an un-guessable QR — and optional NFC — linked to its digital passport.
- 02
Scan
Anyone scans with a phone camera. No app. The portal loads in under a second, even on mobile data.
- 03
Verify
They see verification status, test certificates, standards and product details — instantly and clearly.
- 04
Engage
Owners register, leave reviews and receive recall alerts. You see every scan as analytics.
Everything the scan can do
Each capability compounds on the last — the same identity that proves authenticity also powers engagement, recalls and compliance.
-
Issue an identity
Generate an un-guessable QR — and an optional NFC tag — for each product, batch or item. URLs can’t be guessed, enumerated or cloned.
-
Verify in a scan
The public portal shows verification status, the certificate of conformance, the standards tested against and product details — server-rendered, sub-second, on any phone.
-
Trace the chain
Record custody handoffs from fibre to finished product with quantity, ownership, GPS and timestamp — and surface provenance to the end customer.
-
Engage the owner
Capture ownership registration, collect reviews and ratings, and let customers log complaints with photos — serious safety issues escalate automatically.
-
Recall & respond
Flag a product or batch as recalled and notify registered owners by email, SMS or push. Every notification is tracked to delivery.
-
Measure & comply
Dashboards show scan trends, geographic heatmaps and product popularity. Export GS1 Digital Link + EPCIS 2.0 for the EU DPP and retailer audits.
From fibre to consumer, on the record
Record every custody handoff with quantity, ownership, GPS and timestamp — then let a single scan tell the whole provenance story, carbon footprint included.
- Cotton farm Origin
- Spinner Yarn
- Weaver & dyer Fabric
- Garment maker Product
- Retailer Shelf
- Consumer Scan
Each handoff records quantity · ownership · GPS · timestamp
Reassuring, legible, and fast — by design
Built mobile-first for bright outdoor light and patchy signal. The verified state is the first thing anyone sees, before any fine print.
- Verification status before the fine print — green for verified, amber for expired, red for recalled.
- The certificate of conformance and the standards a product was measured against.
- Care, usage and supply-chain provenance, one tap away.
- Register ownership, leave a review, or report a concern — right from the scan.
Platform FAQ
Do consumers need an app?
No. VeriCon resolves in any phone’s camera or browser. The public portal is server-rendered and built to load in under a second, even on mobile data.
How does VeriCon stop counterfeits?
Each identity is a cryptographically random, un-guessable UUID — codes can’t be guessed or enumerated, and the record behind them can’t be silently altered. Recalled or revoked items show a clear red warning.
Do you use blockchain?
No blockchain is required. Un-guessable UUIDs in a secured database deliver tamper-evident, anti-counterfeit verification without the cost, latency and complexity of a chain.
What about NFC tags?
NFC tags (NTAG, readable by Android and iPhone) carry the same digital identity as the QR — a tap and a scan resolve to exactly the same passport.
Can it handle full supply-chain traceability?
Yes. Record each custody handoff from farm to retail with GPS and timestamps, then show provenance and carbon footprint on the consumer scan.
Is it ready for the EU Digital Product Passport?
Yes. VeriCon aligns with GS1 Digital Link and EPCIS 2.0, ahead of the EU textile DPP expected around 2028–2029.
